Anyway, coming back to lyrics, I think it's about being addcited to a toxic love while at the same time being completely aware of it. About fighting all the problems you have with that person, feeling like you broke free from their control just to come back to point 0 because it's how addiction works, like trying to put off some drugs but when it seems like you've won and broke free, one day you suddenly feel so low that you need to take them one last time even though you're aware it's likely going to kill you.
