the honeymoon is over. the polish has worn off and now i can\'t see why i wanted to be here anymore, but i don\'t want to be alone. so because i am a coward, i stay here and i will exist in desperation despite you. i no longer consider your perspective. only mine exists and only yours. eventually there is nothing recognizable left and we only see one another as any tool to be used and discarded. i wonder what Saa\'ed means. When i first heard this track, it really weirded me because before i realized that there were vocals, i had learned the lyrics. there is another song by them that freaked me out a little once i realized that the sound i was hearing was someone\'s voice that had been modified so that it was like seamlessly mixed with a steel guitar and a french horn, i swear to god. blended so that you can\'t distinguish one from the other well enough to be sure what you\'re hearing. it\'s either stretched or ....SERVE MY THIRST. i think it\'s serve my thirst. "take me away" or something eventually emerges from the noise. it\'s totally awesome.
they\'ve really got my number though, as far as their sound is concerned. i involuntarily love every noise i\'ve heard infected mushroom make so far. i never had a chance man and i\'ve never been able to find the track that i feel like i remember hearing first and i\'ve looked for years. i\'m pretty sure i just remembered it stupid and somehow don\'t recognize it, and it\'s called "Nothing to Say" though. :\
