I understand this song. I think I do. I mean I know we all have a way of making songs our own. I\'m 2 years as an addict in recovery as of today. 2 years exactly. Been a long 2 years I\'ll tell you what.\n\nAnyway... Is somebody that lived a horrible horrible life for quite a while... You could definitely say I\'m something of a sinner I guess. I\'m agnostic so I don\'t really do that religious thing but even as a euphemism or as a metaphor I get it. You know if you live a life full of anguish pain sorrow and hurt and destruction... If you make it out... I hope and I pray you gain some wisdom along the way. I know I did. I use my stories to help people. The wisdom that I gained. And a lot of that help comes through therapeutically in the form of music. Sully Erna is a musical genius in my opinion. The music he sings coupled with his voice.. perfection. Everything that God smacked did in the later years and when he went solo.\n\n A different kind of tears is another one I highly suggest anybody that\'s struggling with addiction or has beat addiction or even wants to understand a little bit more.. check it out.
