But I feel like the line "from a weapon you\'ve designed" and referencing a "child bleeding to death" is a direct reference to the drone strikes that began in the bush administration. We\'re all well aware of the casualties to innocent lives they can have.\n\nI think this song might call out the fact even though these drones were designed to protect soldiers from entering combat their very nature made more death.\n\nObviously this could also just be a reference to war being bad but the song was made in 2004 - same time as the strikes started.
