Cover art for Golden Birdies lyrics by Captain Beefheart

It looks like it has something to do with Moses freeing the Israelites from Egypt (his magic slit the sea open to let go flocks of them). I hope the birdie (large nose?) and acid gold bar stuff are not some antisemitic references; I would like to keep enjoying Beefheart. By the way I think it is Obeah/Obia, not Obi.. it is apparently a west African mythical beast that comes and steals people from villages (was Moses an Obia? is the broom his staff?). What is sookie singabus? Red merry go-round horse?

@kaebeh it is Obeah-man.. someone who uses his relationship with devil to gain fortune and bring revenge on his enemies. And "bone knob land" is the shape of African continent. And the Panataloon is "Pantalon de\' Bisognosi" a greedy venetian merchant... OK this song is antisemitic, I regret getting deep into it. Now Beefheart is another white guy who thinks if it wasn\'t for the flocks of dirty brown big nosed people the innocent white roman/christians would bestow Jesus\'s love upon humanity.. pfff, another disillusionment with an artist.
