I always was a little divided on this. It must suck to be given a STD, but then again the protagonist is just as much to blame for not wearing a condom, duh! And a lot of time the person doesn't know they are infected when they pass on the disease. So the violence with the baseball bat - if literal - is not exactly fair (and misogynistic too if the partner was a woman). Then again, this is punk rock and they're showing an ugly reality, uncensored. The positive side of this is it warns kids that for 15 minutes of pleasure you could be ruining your health or even lose your life. The music is pretty cool too.
