I think this one is about God and religion too, they can't be anything God and religion says, and religion shows us a way of life but Nothing says"now I walk alone I find a way" they are basically saying that they religious ways are not for them and they should find their own way of life
The last verse is so obvious but the chorus "all of my prayers unanswered, all of my careless actions" I don't know but it might be that they had just prayed and wasted their time or like praying was a careless action?
Failures and catastrophies also might have been caused by religious people and them being so faithful to their God that they would kill people for it(Hitler killed Jews, holy wars, Muslims(Iran and Iraq war) terrorists like ISIS and Taliban, AlQaeeda)
