I'm not the biggest fan on Nicks but this song struck a chord especially during the headspace I was in. "That my face is not seen" was so powerful 4 me. I think the song is about being in that blurry space between friends and lovers. You both hope things work out for eachother mutually but in reality you both have the same feelings for eachother so there's not much to stress about.
