I've studied this one a bit and watched a few videos to see how Hannah sings the chorus. I am fairly certain that it's not "Are you lonesome?" but instead "Are you lost, son?"
Some sites report the lyrics this way and this is what the official Apple lyrics list. But, just as importantly, watching the shape of her mouth during this lyric, I don't think she's saying "lonesome."
