I don't think this is a bad song. It brings back a lot of memories of when I was a kid. Not because we did any of the things in the song, but because it was played on the radio a lot in 1974 when it came out. Mainly in the summer prior to my Freshman year in High School. Everyone liked the song because of the music. It had a pretty good sound. Some of the words were misheard, like "Blue Sea Haze", which if you look the song lyrics up, they can't even agree if it's that or "Cool Sea Haze". I have to believe it's "Blue Sea Haze because it was heard by us as "Boozy haze", which also starts with a "B". Anyway, I digress. The main thing here is that this song is not a bad song. It's just one of those songs you eventually got tired of hearing because it was on the radio a lot. I like it because it reminds me of a time when I was younger and just having fun.
