She is also the person whom Krist Novocelic, Nirvanas bassist, attributes to their “proper introduction to the music industry.” After frustrations stemming from Nirvanas lesser known debut album Bleach received limited promotion from Sub-Pop, she referred them to A&R reps from larger labels and suggested hiring a lawyer in order leave the Sub-Pop.
