Person A cries for the attention & love of person B. Nothing seems to work. A´s song is not heard by B. The first lines of it have some biblical essence, something religious: the sheperd, the guidance, the light. A is almost praying. Seems B has another priorities in life, so those prayers cannot be heard.
Someone claims nothing is said about the lady perspective. But I think the story could apply to any person, no matter of genders.
When we mean nothing in the other person´s agenda, the only thing we can do is to write a song like this. Which, by the way, is a beautiful one.
