That was on a Saturday evening, November 15, 2003. There was a prime time musical show with Serge Lama as the main guest and many others, mostly women, to sing duets. 20 songs were in competition and, while waiting for the winning song of this Chanson N°1*, Patrick Fiori came to sing this song - except that I haven't heard the end of his single. Around 11:30pm, the show was abruptly cut, with a test pattern (beep) and a still screen (silence) during a few seconds : "in a few seconds, the continuation of your proramme". I was waiting for the show to come back to know the winner, but actually, it didn't : the next programme was aired after the commercial, Tout Le Monde En Parle**. Before midnight, I turned the TV off.
In the end, that was it, I waited for the next Saturday (November 22) to know the winning song. During TLMEP, around midnight, a short scrolling text announced, unsurprisingly IMHO, "Je Suis Malade" as the winning song.
