I know the pale thing in the darkest of places" are meant to explain the ultimate truths and feelings the mushrooms uncover within you. Every single lyric represents the feeling of being washed away in a mushroom trip except the " I cut their throats why they slept" verse. Even then it could have been him hallucinating murdering someone. Acid Bath has many songs with violence in them so it was fitting I guess. And last but not least Venus Blue is the color psilocybin mushrooms bruise when handled. Easy reference to pick up if you know ????.
