When the B-52's were very popular in the late 1980's and early 1990's, the place to be was the shopping mall. In 2010, the shopping mall was a relic of nostalgia and not what it used to be. They feel they have more to contribute in life but feel that people are labeling them as passé, much like the shopping mall.
