This song - which I heard for the first time tonight, not only had beautiful vocals, and lyrics, but they are spare and cut to the chase.
They bore into my heart, because they exactly describe my 32 year relation ship for the past several years.
The chorus is repeated, because there's nothing left to say .A tentative truce won't work, or fill your heart with passion.
The connection is gone.
You are room mates that used to be lovers.
