Such a shame that this brilliant musician would always be portrayed like "a druggie that will soon find his way to the coffin" since 1996 or so and even more during the 1998 jail thing. And was scapegoated since then. Not sure he payed that much attention to what the media said of him, or even cared at all. Being that this is the second or third song he's talking about this, it seems to be more of an inner struggle. Being jailed for not exactly commiting any "crime", just because bullshit laws. All the while, the guy who raped him at 12 years old had all the freedom in the world with his very real crime never being punished.

I think what bothered Scott the most is how most people in this world will pose as "incorruptible saints" and pointing the finger at him for using cocaine (when most of these people put even more trash inside their bodies in a saily basis, for example crappy diets, alcohol, etc) But these same people (authorities, judges, people in power) won't care about a 12-year old boy being raped and traumatized for his entire life. He must have realized that way back, noticing that the school authorities didn't really gave a shit about the kids, they only cared about...
