I think he had just played this, and it was a small venue, and while he's tuning or something someone asked "what's the lyric about rain?" and he answered "you mean 'Like being caught by a tropical rain'?" and there's an audible murmur... and he follows "Why? what did you think it was?" and someone answers (what I always sing myself) "Like being caught by a drop of cold rain!"
