Oh no no, this is not a prostitute It's a depressed woman. She closed herself up in her room and she's hiding from anyone knocking at her door like they were soldiers coming to take her (like with the jews). People think she should get out and get a job or at least have lunch, but she's not interested. She just wants to feel sorry for helself and smoke, and smoke, and smoke.... she can't even begin to think about falling in love again cause she's disgusted by having her heart broken. She's been crushed. She isn't proud of this behavior (isolating, not working, smoking...) and she would like to be a naturally likeable person, but she's never been that type.
