I think this is one of the most vulnerable songs Taylor has written. It’s sweet and lovely yet Insecure and unstable. I think we’ve all felt the need for the one we love to always have eyes for us. To keep them looking at us....I also think this is the one song she might reference the pandemic. “They say the end is near”.... this song is quite beautiful and raw. The album is one of a kind ....see good things always happen along side bad things. This world wide pandemic has left everyone in a different state than before it happened but somehow good things have also been born out of it and this album is one of them. Thank you Taylor.
