The thirteenth track of Taylor's new album 'Folklore' was written by Taylor Swift and Aaron Dessner. Produced by Aaron Dessner. It was recorded by Jonathan Low and Aaron Dessner at Long Pond (Hudson Valley, NY). Mixed by Serban Ghenea at Mixstar Studios (Virginia Beach, VA). Mastered by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound (New York, NY). The track was released on July 24, 2020.

What the artist means On ‘epiphany’, Taylor simply stuns as the star of her very own show. The production of this track is quite different compared to the previous twelve tracks as it brings out the angelic tone in her versatile range. I'd love to have an instrumental only album from Ms. Swift one day. On this track she's watching a lover breathing and enjoying his beautiful company without the prying eyes of the public. She's in tune with melody on this one as all her words come out crystal clear showing us once again why she's one of the greatest singers in history. She's in the company of a lover but she makes it seem as if he's an Angel because no one deserves to be serenaded so beautifully. She's craving the lover opening his eyes and taking a single glimpse of her, the angelic production of the song closes it out.

What the song means to me While I love this song and I feel that the production on it is better than the rest of the album I don't really understand what Taylor's subject matter is here. She sounds insanely good but yet she's all over the place. Maybe that's what love does? Who knows? But I really won't mind being loved by this superstar. I will give this song a rating of 6/10.
