Sometimes I wonder if people actually understand what the real cause of Jimmy's death. I don't think most understand the consequences of being an alcoholic. The main thing that killed Jimmy was the enlarged heart condition which is a cause of being an alcoholic. Don't believe me? Go read Mayo Clinic and what they say about alcoholism. I'm watching my best friend fight for her life because she is an alcoholic. It's horrible to watch. I'm scared to death that I'm going to get that phone call that she's found dead. Alcoholism is very real and is very much a DISEASE.
Everyone wants to blame drugs as to the sole reason that Jimmy died. NOT ENTIRELY TRUE. The drugs exacerbated the heart problem. If he had time to make it to see a cardiologist, he might still be with us. Make NO doubt about it... Alcohol was the basis of why he isn't with us. Alcohol like everything is fine in moderation. But like my friend, I don't think he knew how to quit or slow down. I'm not judging anyone who throws down partying. Been there done that myself. I do know, via experience, that when you mix benzo's and alcohol it's like playing Russian roulette. But if a person is unaware that there is a serious problem with a major organ... the chances of not waking up increase greatly. It pisses me off that this FACT is overlooked and he's made to look like a drug addict and that's what killed him. I also don't believe for one second that he killed himself by overdosing on purpose. I don't believe he would have done that to his family or extended family. He loved the people around him and I refuse to believe he would ever hurt the ones he loved intentionally. Some people are reading too much into some things and not enough into the correct things.

@CountessXroads While you\'re not wrong, you are misled. Jimmy was born with an enlarged heart, he did not gain the enlarged heart from heavy drinking. The drinking didn\'t help his condition but Jimmy didn\'t believe he would live long anyway, he stated he wouldn\'t live to 30 which he was correct on.
