This song came out when I was 15, and it played all the time. I’d met this girl on a youth group trip that was only
lightly chaperoned, and we hooked up. We started dating, but strangely, she went to a boarding school out of town, so I could only see her on some weekends. It didn’t last very long, but it was awesome while it lasted. Calling her at that school was a pain in the ass, because someone would have to track her down, and only during certain hours. So I remember listening to this song after school, and willing her to call me...and oftentimes, it worked!
