Bye-Bye Darling

I think this song represents somebody who has to say goodbye to somebody that they truly love, but know they can’t be in a relationship with. They are going back to their old memories, and expressing that they “had a good run darling,” but it’s time that we separate for the best. When he talks back to going to the ages, he means the memories and times they had together, and everything that he misses about his lover. This song is extremely heart breaking, and I completely relate to the feeling and mood that this song represents.
