I definitely like this song and heartfelt lyrics, and my first thought was that he's singing about his brother... but the last time the Gallaghers performed together was in 2009... not exactly near the 16 years mentioned in the lyrics. I suppose it's possible he is referring to the last time they were in studio together, but I haven't been able to find any definitive dates on that just yet.
