It's hard for me to get the lyrics to hold together in total, but I do love the line "Every child of Gods a brat, and she's trying to escape them." Brilliant and funny.
The melody also feels heartbreaking,but not in the standard saccharine pop music way.

It is humorous but only in context -- who could ever think of it as being great line on its own? Only a sad misanthrope like the one he's making fun of!
