@Prince of Apathy To me, i see it as a casual relationship between a bloke and a sheila, maybe he’s got a girlfriend so she’s jumping out the window rather than walking out a door, and just disappears without looking back, which he likes because he doesn’t have to deal with the emotional side of it; she acts like she doesn’t care, but when she’s alone she’s feeling it. Little boat floats on a river drifting through a haze, she’s just going through the motions, and when she wants to hook up again she just goes back and he’s willing...
