The song is about one of the sub cults of the Cthulhu Mythos by Alastair Crowley. A follower giving themselves to the cult in return they hope to meet the beast and hasten the return of the "great old ones".

My Interpretation

The Chtulhu mythos was created by horror writer H.P. Lovecraft, not Crowley. There are many short stories and a couple of novellas that feature beings and deities from the mythos. In turn it has inspired many bands, several rather bad movies, and a few equally disappointing video games. On the while though the books are great. As for the meaning of the song there is definitely a mythos influence but I wonder if they might be a useful metaphor for something more personal.
