I have always felt this song is about birth. That it is about a newborn person, or for that matter something else, that is newborn. That this new life (life in any way) is in itself the "Pearls of Light". Maybe that is a too literal interpretation but thats what I have always imagined. "newborn sun", "womb of the leaves" . I feel like the "I" in the song is letting herself/himself get carried away with the light of the newborn, and for a moment he/she forgets where she's from, beacuse even though this birth is something beautiful in itself, the world surrounding it has a lot of darkness.
