Got me why this hasn't been commented on yet. It's a beautiful song, and IMO pretty straightforward.
When I listen to this song, I think about the grief that Celine must have gone through after losing her husband and brother within days of each other.
I love the strength in her voice even though she's clearly hurting. This isn't a "woe is me", self pity song. It's a song of mourning and seeking resiliency. Truly beautiful.
@jaybles22 this song was actually written exclusively for the movie Deadpool 2 and meant to represent the emotional trauma that Wade was going through. They just asked Celine to sing it so that it would bring about a more emotional take. It’s completely satire
