never looked into the meaning of the lyrics, but it sounds biblical, like god/man having an objective (gods point of view)/subjective (mans point of view) conversation with himself, not that im right, nor am i religious by any stretch of the imagination.

(god/man admitting they were wrong, but still not fully forgiving each other)

(both man/god maturing, yet neither has made an effort to reconnect, so neither really tries)

(not to sure what this could mean. man bringing up old wounds that they felt were owned to god, but paid back by man, and asking for forgiveness, seems logically consistent)
