Years ago I asked Moddi about his interpretation of this song and this is what he wrote me:
"Usually I tend to write songs to get a specific thought OUT of my head (or rather structure it/even it out so i won't have to dwell on it anymore), but once you've recorded it, it follows you wherever you go. This particular song is a meta-song about how you can't sing yourself out of certain struggles. Sometimes you actually have to do something with your life, not just "think" the bad stuff away. That is why I don't perform this song anymore. It is, on many levels, OUT of my head, fortunately."
