As much as I absolutely love her to pieces, I can't listen to this song. St. Augustine was one of the first Christian proponents of the "Just War Theory," which is basically what it sounds like - religious justification of killing other people in wars. A lot of religions have had prominent figures who theorized this, but St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas were the notable ones in Christianity's history.
Based on how sensitive and thoughtful Vienna is about so many different issues in her songs, I certainly don't think she had any ill intention with this one - Augustine's role just seems to be something that's not really talked about much or well-known. I only found out completely by accident.
