idontwannabeyouanymore by Billie Eilish portrays a feeling that I, and many others are very well acquainted with. A feeling, that we as people, no matter how much , or, in whatever way we improve ourselves, will never be as perfect as we wish we were. Sometimes we wonder if we were just made to be broken. And, society’s social weights on fashion and body standards for both men and women equally weighs upon our already heavy consciousnesses. We break ourselves further through intense self- deprecation because the standards forced upon us by others warps our perception of ourselves. In reality, no one is perfect or wrong. Similar to that of art, we as people are subjective. One must simply take the steps to analyze and see a person for who they really are to truly appreciate the beauty that comes from within.
