This song in my opinion is basically talking about how he’s living the gangsta rap life style but people are mad at him for the things he does and how he lives his life. He mentions people getting to much into his personal life so much that they can “smell his calogn”. He then proceeds to say those who judge him are living as hypocrites with “pistols and preaching”. He also mentions “old money” which I believe he is talking about the god fathers of gangsters of the 20-30’s and that they’re still around but no one talks about them.
A lot of Ice Cube’s music seems to be about how rappers although what they do isn’t good they’re not the worst of enemies out there with politicians, god fathers of gangsters, etc.
