"There's too much blood in my alcohol" sounds like one of those stupid slogan t-shirts mocking alcoholism. I think the rest of the lyrics are about being ignorant and superstitious and a miserable toxic person that's trying to drink yourself to death. "feeding the heartworms" is feeding the hate in your heart.
