Once upon a time, I fell in love with a girl. I took her on a date. We had a great time. But something changed in her and it caused me to change. I desired her, but no longer did I attempt her. It was as if I was scared of her, and she was scared of me, as if we were afraid of hurting each other, of making that next move. We never did make that next move, despite secretly wanting to make it.
