Has anybody anywhere on Earth (or any other planet for that matter) been able to figure out the lyrics from the studio demo version of this song, the one on the Head on the Door reissue? From what I can tell, it's truly intriguing: clearly, this is a predecessor to "Inbetween Days," and it also includes a line you'll all recognise from "Six Different Ways" ("Six sides to every lie I say"); like most demos, however, it is, alas, not of the best sound quality. Thus, after having listened to it a few grillion times, I am finally admitting defeat.
