I can understand there not being a lot of interpretation comments on this song is just a straight-forward love letter without any obscure lyrics. But I am surprised that it lacks many responses as it is a beautiful song. For the longest time thought I thought it was a Roy Orbison song. Obviously I wasn't listening real closely. In the words of Bruce Springsteen, "Nobody sings like Roy Orbison." I think it is clear this song is at least an homage to him.
