Edward Murrow was a real journalist, and may well have been the last truly, truth-seeking journalist. Nowadays the news is a fiasco of lies, deceit, and false flags, which in the long run spells out one thing...manipulation and brain washing to the masses. The masses, because television is the greatest weapon American government has ever invented, and all in the name of entertainment. The news and other news-like journalism shows (Dateline, Night-Line, and or 20/20 type journalistic programs) have gone on for so long unchecked by any journalistic criticism, or marking, that they have become just another story-telling sitcom like All In The Family, social satire programming. Television is nothing more than programming...programming our docile sweet little innocent heads.but All In The Family has a lot more meat to it, a lot more. Because at least it is teaching moral and ethical ideas, but not really teaching it, just sending it out to whoever sees it for what it is or not. Even though our subconscious may have picked up on it already, as it usually does.
Got a little side tracked....Lindsey Buckingham is in raw form on this song and his lyrics have never spoken so clearly to me. This song was released in 2003, and Buckingham is describing to a tee, what is actually happening in the world of news reporting today. The beginning of the song mentions the the acronym MSCAE, and by doing a little research on about what the acronym is, I found an interpretation of those initials to say, Murrow School of Communication, Arts, and Entertainment. Of course, Buckingham is playing a little with tongue and cheek sarcasm, but Edward R. Murrow would be turning over in his grave if he saw what these psychos running this world (i.e. the American government and all governments) are doing to it. He is calling it the school..."Art and Entertainment" because that is exactly what many governenmts have turned their policies to..."entertainment", because that is what sells...whether it is truth or "false flag" propaganda manipulations, we need to entertain!!
