Was it an intentionally manipulative move by Rodney Rooster? Hmmm.... who cares, it’s a great song, miles ahead of his other ballad of around the same time, Tonight’s The Night, which I consider a tremendous piece of shit (“Spread Your WINGS and let me cum inside”?!? REALLY?!? I’m not even sure if he wrote it, but even if he didn’t, points off for poor song selection!!).
