In my opinion, this song is about depopulation and people living ignorant selfish lives. Thus they "cannot receive the obvious" truth...that most humans are cattle to the elite. Chad seems to harp on this comparison as well in the song, "Out to Pasture." Sad and scary because it is true.

This theme is also explored in “The End of All Things to Come.” I think this song was/is representative of how the New World Order will lead to the full collapse of civilization. Also, that it’s inevitable because the masses “cannot receive the obvious.”
