My interpretation is that this is about a relationship in which a partner is struggling greatly and is dreaming about his/her partner’s love, but continues to break down and get torn apart. He/she is going through something awful, possibly depression or anxiety, and they dream of the lightness and happiness of love, however, this is stunted by the evil that is constantly plaguing and tormenting him/her.
