I take it as meaning to "set alight" to your life. Crawl out of your despair / depression (all described by the gloomy weather metaphors) and grab hold of life (set ablaze, set alight) etc. etc.
The overarching imagery is of the despair (bad weather), but in essence it is saying try and grab hold of that silver lining (in life) and live!! I can relate to that ... I personally imagined it with water / drowning metaphors but same story.
