It's like he has all these problems and he's so depressed that he's pushing everybody away, he doesn't want to deal with people, I know that feeling, I've been there. But the people he loves (family, friends girlfriend) are trying to help him but he want's no part of it but deep down inside he knows they're right that he should listen to them.
I like the tune, nice dark melody and chord progression but the solo is really sloppy, probably played by Wes. They should let Paul handle the lead guitar work in the band, he actually can play a good leads and it would of made the song even better with kick-ass guitar solo but that's ok, still a good song.
