I'm guessing this song is about how bands from non-English speaking countries work their butts off but don't find any success because the music-buying market is dominated by English-speaking countries. "Finally head west, but it's a dead end:" some bands like Whitesnake say that they weren't popular until they were popular in the U.S.: being popular in their own countries wasn't enough because the largest music-buying market is the U.S. But we speak English in the U.S. not Portuguese so it's almost impossible for a Portuguese band to get popular here. Portuguese bands can headline festivals in Brazil because they speak Portuguese there.
Celtic Frost are a Swiss band. I don't know them very well though, so I don't know which album of theirs is the one that everybody hates.
