Apparently Chavo Guerrero is a popular wrestler who had his dad at his side, his whole life. He was also by his son's side when his son got famous and toured around the nation. In that part of the last verse, I am not sure if Chavo is the father or the son. I am guessing it is equally applicable both ways.

This made JD's stepdad jealous and angry, but that only increased JD's love of Chavo. JD loved Chavo not only because he was a great wrestler, but because he was a great man, he was a great dad AND he had a great dad which JD longed for, and because worshipping Chavo made JD's stepfather mad the way JD's stepfather made JD mad.
