1st set of verses i believe, depicts an angel coming to earth and proclaiming their devotion to "the creator" or god. They were sent on a mission.
2nd set of verses the angel falls in love with a passer by, their devotion to heaven is wavering, they aren't sure what is heaven after this encounter. The power of falling in love.
3rd "judgement will be made" perhaps the angel has lost their conviction. I get the impression that the angel's mission is to kill an individual and that passerby just happens to be that individual. It just happens to be the holiday season and the angel chooses to abandon their mission for the sake of love. They know their time is running out and sooner or later they will be punished by other angels so they want just a moment of love, a kiss.
