Standing face to face with God means being able to look him in the eyes once again and regaining the strength to find out what you're truly worth. Regardless of my interpretation, however, it can't really be a "fuck you to religion" if it plainly acknowledges the the fact that your God actually exists. That in itself straight up validates religion, if anything at all. The beauty of songs is that the listener can interpret lyrics however they wish, just keep in mind that it's YOUR choice that makes it anti-religion from your pov, not the artist's.
