This song is a song about how he is changed by Christ and dying to his old self but is struggling with it and he pleads for Master or God to kill him or his old self and he's given up and body breaking down from it and it's a mind numbing process trying to be Godly but struggling every day with it so he pleads to have God give him strength. Powerful song. Really spoke to me as a growing Christian and an adult because I have felt exactly this in my walk with God or just in life and never had the words to express it until I heard this.
